Recruiting Fire/EMS & Student Firefighters

Have you ever wanted to volunteer in your community?  We have positions for everyone.  From Firefighter, EMT’s, and support positions, we can use your help.  All training and equipment is provided by the department.  Being a volunteer firefighter is a very rewarding job.  The Cascade Locks Fire Department provides a vast array of Emergency Services ranging from Ambulance Transporting, Vehicle Extrication, Haz-Mat response, Trail and Rope Rescues, Structural and Wildland Firefighting.  We respond to over 500 calls per year.  We hold our general membership meetings once a month, and training every week.  No experience required, just a love for your community, and the passion for firefighting.  And riding in a firetruck is really cool!
