Many trails throughout the gorge are closed or partially closed due to damage this last winter. Please follow all posted signs and DO NOT hike beyond the closed points. Some trails are closed temporarily and others are closed for the year. Please check the trail you are hiking here for conditions and closures. Please stay on the trails!! We love hiking in the gorge for the beautiful scenery, but when you cut trails you damage that scenery. You’re out for hike, don’t cut yourself short. Thank you!

Tonight we held our annual awards banquet and we are so proud of all our firefighters for their hard work and dedication. There was great food provided by Parkdale Fire Department and lots of laughs. Congratulations to Neil McCormick- Firefighter of the Year award, Dennis Muilenburg- Top Responder award, and Mike Spears- Chief’s Award and new Lieutenant! These men deserved special recognition for their service and loyalty to our mission. All of our volunteers deserve special recognition, but without these three men we would not have been able to complete another successful year. Many thanks and gratitude!
